Scotland are in a tough group with hosts Germany, Switzerland and Hungary.

They finished bottom of the group and faced a raucous home crowd in Munich in their first game.

This is only the fourth European Cup for Steve Clark's side but they will be hoping to surprise after a strong qualifying campaign.

Scotland have lost just one of their eight qualifying games and sit second in Group A behind Spain and four points ahead of challengers Norway.

In 2021, they ended a 23-year absence from major tournaments, with Clark becoming the first manager to lead Scotland to two consecutive European finals.

Meanwhile, world number four Gareth Southgate's side head to Germany as favorites after reaching the final last time out.

Under Southgate, the Three Lions have reached at least the quarter-finals in all three major competitions - but is this the year they finally advance?

Jude Bellingham is one of the stars of the competition, having recently helped Real Madrid win the Champions League trophy, while captain Harry Kane is having a brilliant individual season, scoring an all-time best in his debut campaign with Bayern Munich Shooter and scored. Manchester City's Phil Foden was also named the Premier League Player of the Season after winning the title.

England face Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia in the group stage and will be hoping for victory after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Iceland in their final warm-up game at Wembley.
